This team did an amazing job replacing my old deck with a new, beautiful, well-constructed new one. It took about 1 week from start to finish to tear down my old 12 x 12 ft deck and complete the new one just as Mike the owner told me when we signed the contract. Despite the quick construction time, the team did high quality work and cleaned up the area when the work was done. I highly recommend them for your home improvement projects.

Gary came out and told me exactly how they'd replace my deck. He spared me the sales pitch that other contractors gave me, which I really appreciated. The materials actually arrived sooner than expected, and they started work early (when has that ever happened?). The crew demolished my old 8'x18' deck and replaced it with a new, code-compliant deck in 4 business days. They did excellent work and kept me up to date on progress the whole time. They took the care to blend in the new deck with my existing vinyl siding. The whole thing looks great and is solid. I'm extremely happy with the quality of work. We did a lot of research on local contractors and obtained several quotes before we decided on Remodel or Renew Home Improvement for our new 20' x 16' Trex Enhanced deck. We are so glad we did! They responded to our request for an estimate within hours and provided a detailed quote after we met with our project manager, Devyn. Mike and his team from RORHI are a great, hard working group of guys.Iâ m so fortunate that I found them after getting a few other estimates. They did the extra work like stripping the house of the old clapboard and making sure the house was insulated before installing the top notch Certainteed brand vinyl siding. We also had our three porches renewed with Trex decking and Certainteed railings and I will never have to paint this house again for as long as I live! I had three estimates prior to getting an estimate from Mike and none of them wanted to do the work required like stripping the house first because it's such a big house and it's very high. It's a very large project to take on. These guys were always here everyday on time and even early many days before 7am and worked long days everyday even in the rain to complete the job. They took the time to do the job the right way and when I had any special requests they worked with me to make my vision happen. I would not hesitate to recommend Remodel or Renew Home Improvement because they do the job the right way and use the highest quality materials! Thank you so much Mike! We love our home now! I was looking to rebuild my 16' X 8' deck and add a step-down 16' X 16' section. I contacted Home Advisor to see who in my area could do the job and within the hour received a call from owner Michael Christopher. We met at my home the next morning at 6:30AM and walked through my requirements. Michael provided a three-dimensional drawing on his iPad and we selected materials. As soon as the materials arrived, the job started and within 9 days was completed from pouring new footings to cleaning railings and balusters at the contracted price! If you want the short answer: we are super happy with the work. The more detailed answer: Each member of the company was professional. Mike made a point to be on site the first day.. He ensured we were comfortable and understood each step in the process as well as provided a timeline they would follow. The craftsmanship was beautiful. As a hobbyist carpenter/cabinetry maker I appreciated the fine lines and attention to detail our crew made. Their work was as clean as my own interior work and really makes the outside of our house nicer. They removed my old front porch which supports a modest roof, installed new footings, framed out and lagged ledgers to the house (which sounds normal but the original was not done this way when the house was built in 87), used all trex composite materials for decking and molded railings, and pvc wrapped all posts in 6x6. The new stairs they built are beautiful and as they made them to code they were able to add one more which will make it so much easier for my elderly father to visit (he hasn't visited due to the daunting front stairs). I can't say enough good things about Mike and his crew. I will admit that their pricing is not ultra competitive. I imagine they compensate their workers for the excellent craftsmanship... but they did come in about 10% higher than the average. I believe I got more than 10% better than the average craftsmanship though. I look forward to requesting more quotes and seeing if we can do more business for siding and an additional leisure deck in back. I hope with the price of materials coming back down to earth my next projects will be more competitive in pricing. We are super happy with the work and would highly recommend them.

My pressure treated deck needed replacement. I got 3 bids which I was considering but was told by a friend to check out Remodel or Renew. Mike Christopher, the Owner, came and asked me what was the main thing I was concerned about. I told him that I was looking for quality workmanship with top of the line Trex composite wood that wouldn't require a lot of maintenance. He sat down with his IPad and designed exactly what I wanted. The design he made was like an actual picture of the finished product and the price was great which included the removal and disposal of the former deck. This is the first time I've EVER reviewed a business that has done work on our home. They deserve it! First, their builders worked long hours and I observed them as they made sure every step was done with precise measurements and the finished product showed just what I observed. Unbelievably sturdy, they didn't cut corners to save time and it was absolutely beautiful. Also what I consider a huge factor is the Warranties on the work and material. A 25 year Warranty that covers scratching and fading of the Trex flooring and railings. UNBELIEVABLE! Lastly, they left the work area cleaner than before they started and Mike the Owner answered my calls or texts every time I had a question either immediately or responded within 15 minutes. All I can say about Remodel or Renew is if you give them a chance to bid on your project you will be happy and even happier if you hire them and see for yourself what I have just told you! Mike and Devyn were greats at communicating every step of the project. Completed ahead of schedule. Omar and his team built our front farmers porch in 5 days and showed up at 730 everyday. One of the hardest working teams I've seen. They did an amazing job. Would hire this company again in a heartbeat.

Repair a Deck or Porch

It was a small deck to the back door rotted out and needed to be replaced. I kept a good eye on them and complained a lot. It was April fools day. when I paid for the new deck, I said April fools. They did a great job for the money . It came out great and I am very happy with a solid safe back deck. It was raining when they started and cold but it was finished very fast. The rain stopped mid morning and in just a few hours I had a new deck.

We were hoping to get an early start on building out a new deck overlooking our yard. Michael came out a day after reaching out to contractors and had a quote for me by the end of the week - much faster (and better value!) than the other quotes I found. Our expectations were set knowing it might be a month or so before we got materials and a completed deck, but after a week and a half they were already building! If it wasn't for some missing parts, they would have finished in less than a week! We couldn't be more happy with our new deck and have already been taking advantage of every warm day to hang out and grill. Great job!

Mike was communicative throughout the job, and I appreciated him checking in while the work was going on. We already have recommended Mike to some friends. I can't say enough about the company. From the first consultation throughout the installation we always knew what was going on. I knew this was the company for us right from the start, the owner came to our home armed with many samples that others didn't bring with them. The professionalism from the onset is what separated them from the rest. Don't look any further this is the company you want. I would highly recommend.

Repair a Deck or Porch

Michael was extremely prompt, professional and courteous throughout all phases of our project. We had an old, beyond-repair, 8-person in-ground spa/hot tub built into our redwood porch that needed to be chopped up and removed. We also needed to have redwood boards installed where the spa was. Michael responded to my inquiry the same day, visited the job site within a day, gave us an estimate and started work within a week. He also made good suggestions regarding staggering the new redwood boards so that the deck would look more blended. His suggestion was perfect. Other than the different color of the newer redwood (which the area will all be stained the same color), you cannot tell a spa was once built into the porch. The entire area looks beautiful and the project only took one day, with the crew arriving early and working non-stop throughout the day. The crew was also great cleaning up and respecting Covid protocols. Michael also suggested a stainer/painter , which we greatly appreciated, who contacted us immediately and is coming to give an estimate in a few days. Overall exceptional customer service from start to finish and excellent, quality work by Michael and his crew. Will definitely use again and recommend.

Michael was the ONLY one who responded to be out of 20 different companies when I had a leak from my living room window during a storm in November. Not only did he respond, he showed up in two days and I got the repair done in 3 weeks that was supposed to be at least 6 weeks. I?m so impressed and grateful at the quality of work and efficiency. Will def be asking Michael to replace all of the rest of our windows!!
